Group classes can often be busy and not always suitable for all dogs or types of training, if you need individual attention for specific reasons, having a 1-2-1 session means you can get 100% individual training. It’s also a really effective way of training without distractions for owner and dog. An individual session also offers convenience to fit in with your busy daily schedule.
1-2-1 training sessions can be specifically tailored to your dog’s needs, sessions are usually at your home but can also be held at a training hall or an outdoor location if that is suitable for the training involved.
A single 1-2-1 training session starts from £35 for a 1 hour session.
All bookings must be paid in full prior to the session.
If you would like to share a session with another dog, we can discuss that as a possibility if it is appropriate.
I cover the North East of England, generally Sunderland/Durham area, but will travel further afield, which may mean an extra travel charge, please contact me to discuss.
I will require a pre training consultation and completed questionnaire before any training takes place. The 45 minute pre training consultation is usually held via zoom/teams/online/telephone, for which there will be a £15 charge. If further training sessions are booked after a pre training consultation, £10 will be discounted from the first session.
If I feel a home visit is needed to enable me to get a better picture of the training needed, I will discuss that with you. No training takes place in the pre training consultation.
In a pre training consultation, I will spend time talking with you and learning about your dog, which enables me to see what you want/need to work on. I will then create a training plan specifically for you an your dog which I will coach you through in our sessions, supported via resources such as handouts, training notes, tutorial videos and step by step instructions. If you have any questions about the training, courses or workshops you can get in touch via email.
Please be aware ... most training isn't a quick fix! It is highly unlikely that your dog will learn something new or overcome an issue in a single 1 hr session, I do not want to mislead you into thinking one session will give you the perfect dog or solve any problems you and your dog may have. I want to be realistic and honest with you, if the training we do is for an particular behaviour issue your dog has, I doubt those issues appeared over night, they will have developed over time, and it usually takes consistency, time and effort to correct any learned behaviours ... commitment is what it takes ... if you are ready to give that commitment, then I am ready to help.
